Managing notifications

To manage which push notifications you get:

  1. Tap Menu Libby menu, in the navigation footer, then Notifications (under "Settings").
  2. If prompted, allow Libby to send push notifications.
  3. Choose how to be notified for each event: Ignore (no notification), Shelf notice (in-app notification), or Notification (push notification).

Note: Push notifications aren't available in Libby on Fire tablets. You can use email or in-app notifications instead.

If you're using Libby in your web browser, you can get in-app or email notifications for your loans and holds. Push notifications aren't supported.

By default, you'll get in-app notices, which appear on your Shelf .

If you'd like to receive email notifications instead, here's how to set them up:

  1. Select Menu Libby menu, in the navigation footer, then Notifications (under "Settings").
  2. Select Email for any event you'd like an email about.
  3. Select Fix this? next to "You need to specify an email address..." (at the bottom of the menu), then enter your email and select Next.
