Why did I move backward on the wait list?

The most likely reason you moved backward in line is that someone ahead of you unsuspended their hold.

Your hold position doesn't include suspended holds, but those holds still move up the wait list while they're suspended. If a user ahead of you unsuspends their hold, they retake their position in line, and the title will become available to them first.
