Libby is sluggish, stuttering, crashing, or not responding (Android)
These issues may be caused by certain accessibility services and password manager apps, like LastPass, Norton Password Manager, Bitwarden, and Avast Passwords.
On Android 8.0 and higher, we recommend setting up your third-party password manager as an autofill service instead of using it as an accessibility service.
To turn off your password manager as an accessibility service on your Android device, go to your device's settings menu and select Accessibility. Then, turn off your password manager under "Downloaded services" (or "Installed apps" or similar).
Next, in your device's settings, enable the password manager as an autofill service. You may want to consult your password manager's website for help with this.
On Android devices below 8.0, you may be able to improve the experience in Libby by either:
- Turning off password autofill for Libby in your password manager's app settings.
- Turning off your password managers and other apps in Settings > Accessibility under "Downloaded services" (or "Installed apps" or similar).
